EMCS (Excise Movement and Control System) is a computerised system for monitoring
movements of excise goods under suspension of excise duty within the EU.All movements are initiated using EMCS with
electronic Administrative Document or e-AD.
Active EMCS participants are authorised warehousekeepers, Registered Consignees, Registered Consignors, Temporary registered Consignees.
All of the EMCS participants are registered in European SEED system (System for the Exchange of Excise Data).
The EMCS solution is designed so that it can be easily integrated with users enterprise resource planning (ERP software), thus preventing repetitive data entry.
Based on the submitted and received documents, it is possible to create detailed periodical XLS reports on dispatched and received goods from the excise warehouse.
The application contains all of the EMCS business knowledge. All the documents are verified according to EMCS rules and conditions before being submitted to the EMCS. A built-in order in which electronic messages are exchanged with EMCS, allows users that are not very skillful to use the application without any trouble.
